Paddlefest 2005 will present some of the great athletes from the 2005 K-1 Marathon U.S. Team Trials. Robert Clegg and Barend Spies, the two qualifying U.S. team athletes will compete again in the Paddlefest K-1 Pro Marathon. Joseph Carillo, in his first year in Seniors, will return to competition at Paddlefest. The Paddlefest Pro Marathon will be the first race to have the top C1 paddlers (Andy Triebold, Calvin Hassel) in the country and the top K1 paddlers racing head to head.
